We need your help. Right now, lawmakers at the state and local levels across the country are rushing to pass new
rules about artificial intelligence (AI). But there are already over 1,000 different AI laws being
proposed—and that’s creating a confusing mess for everyone. We’re asking our members—both
businesses and consumers—to sign a simple letter asking elected officials to hit “pause” on
these laws. A 10-year break will give Congress time to create one clear set of rules for the whole
